Little Things...
Here's a slice of my desk...I'm a big fan of the little things that inspire. I bought the Ed Musante painted cigar box years ago from an exhibition in NY...There are always coloured pens and pencils all over my house, a big mussell shell filled with sand dollars I found on Stinson Beach a few months back, and Mary MacGill's beautifully designed business card for her incredible jewelery....the little things in life that make me happy.

Destination in Mind 40 X 30"
I am heading to the Atlantic Coastline for some springtime inspiration. I have rented a little saltbox for a few days and look very much forward to the time to photograph, sketch and use my watercolours...I was inspired by the thought of this Saltbox.

The Road Through (donated and sold at the BuildOn auction!)
A HUGE thank you to the wonderful family who bid on my painting at the BuildOn auction!
It was an honor to donate the piece to the BuildOn auction soon after my husband and son partipated in one of their treks to Nicaragua to build a school. It was definitely a life changing experience for the two of them.
Here is a video link covering some of some of the recent treks and experiences participants discuss including the recent Nicaragua trip! This is an organization I deeply believe in - for all that they do.

Swell 34 X 36" (sold)
This painting sold to a wonderful family...a birthday present for a surfing loving husband.
I painted this right after Hurricane Sandy had passed through. The piece was inspired by a close friend who suggested I think of the seas during that time while I had this canvas in front of me.
"The Road Through" 36 X 48" ...donated to the BuildOn auction this Friday May 3rd.
The painting, "Road Through", will be one of 10 Super Silent items at the 10th Annual buildOn Dinner this Friday night May 3rd.
BuildOn is breaking the cycle of poverty, illiteracy and low expectations through service and education. The pilgrimage and climb to Tiger's Nest, Bhutan
| This is the first leg of the climb where you can see the Tiger's Nest Monastery in the cliffs in the distance. |
There are no words for this pilgrimage to the Tiger's Nest. It is without a doubt one of the most spiritual places I have ever experienced or seen in my life.
